Snowed in for 3 days now as you may have experienced the same if you live in the NYC area.  Attempt to keep myself sane, I created a lot of mini projects.  So far only one was a success.  I made a versatile bag; it can be a cross body, clutch, or a shoulder bag.  I am most excited about the lining, if/ when I wear this I will probably make an excuse to get something out of it to show off the lining.  HA!

homemade gift for the holidays.

So it is Christmas tomorrow... as we are all busy doing last minute shopping for the holidays I had to make last minute gifts.  I am just going to show one of the many things I created.  I made an ipad case for my friend who is so into his gadgets. 

So I used a tweed fabric for the exterior and red felt for the lining.  I wanted this to be a useful case so in between the lining I lined it with a thick felt.  On this felt I ironed on a vinyl to make it not only shock absorbent but waterproof.  The last image is my logo.

holiday cards

I finally finished my holiday cards.  They are just very simple wreath design.  Someone had mentioned that they wanted some kind of description on the end product. 

I just wrote out my verbiage and scanned it in.  I tweaked the verbiage to my liking,enlarged it with illustrator and painted it.  As for the wreath, while painting the verbiage, I painted some dots and put them together to create an image, in this case a wreath.  Whoa-la my card.  I hope you like it. 

Calendar

I have been sitting on posting this Calendar for quite some time now and finally decided to post it.  This calendar is one of the reasons why I started a blog.  You can find it soon on my Etsy shop which will open soon.  So stay tuned for grand opening!

Happy Monday again! This past weekend was very productive.  I had some "me" time and I finally finished embellishing the simple Gap cardigans for my nieces.  I have to say that I am quite happy with the results.  I did 2 color ways.  Freezer paper is amazing.

The Holidays are just around the corner and if you haven't sent out those cards it is time to do so.  Here is my process in creating my own cards.  I usually have to doodle a lot of the same thing before I am satisfied.  Stay tuned for the end results.  I can't wait...
